For over 20 years, Caroline has lived in the Forest of Dean, a world apart between England and Wales. The natural beauty, tranquillity and scenic variety of the Forest act as a continuing inspiration for her as an image maker. Always changing - yet the Forest's essence remains the same. Caroline specialises in black and white photography. In 1995 she won Forest Enterprise's "The Dean in Perspective" Competition. In 1999 she gained her Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society. She is widely exhibited throughout the UK and her still life images have won awards. She likes to experiment with darkroom techniques to produce photographic prints, each one of which is unique.
