Eighteen years ago, Dave made a major career move to work with his real love – WOOD. He and Audrey have been making bespoke furniture ever since in their stone workshop with its' inspiring panoramic views over the Forest of Dean and where visitors are always welcome.
Dave and Audrey make an excellent range of Made in the Forest of Dean bespoke furniture from kitchens, fitted wardrobes, cabinets, dining tables, occasional tables, desks, chests also music stands, jewellery boxes and clocks. Often called upon to design and made special commemorative gifts. They also design and make storage solutions. They work in hardwoods (locally sourced whenever possible) such as ash, beech, cherry and oak all from sustainable forests. They never use timbers from parts of the world where poor conservation and illegal logging are continuing problems. The finishes they use are based on natural oils and are both durable and safe.
Their designs are eye-catching and allow the natural grain and beauty of the timber to shine through. They are comfortable working in both traditional and contemporary styles and work to the highest standards using traditional skills to create enduring and professionally made bespoke pieces.
Dave and Audrey work closely with their clients to ensure that each individually designed piece has the wow factor within budget.
Please telephone them for an initial discussion or to arrange a visit to the workshop.
