A painter from a young age, Elisabeth first trained in Law until the opportunity came to paint full time. She is an experieced Arts Teacher. and achieved her B.A. Hons Fine Art at Birmingham. First Degree in Theory & History of Art at Essex. She has practised in a variety of art forms including 3D installation and printmaking as well as painting. She is concentrating on her Painting in particular, focusing on large scenes inspired by the South Shropshire landscapes. Music also plays a large part in her work, helping to evoke the mood and movement of her journeys onto the canvas.
Her wide range of work includes memorised "snapshots" from her travels in France and Berlin. She likes to produce series of paintings, continuing and devloping her themes. Elisabeth is also an admirer of Arte Povera and likes to "stitch and link mixed materials together" in her pictures. Colour dominates and this is apparent in her abstract works.
