Fred is an accomplished Artist and Illustrator, specialising in airbrush photorealistic style. His work encompasses fine art, portriature, landscapes, and corporate branding. He is a qualified teacher and runs regular airbrush and Painting and Drawing courses.
His workshops in painting and drawing encompass colour theory, commercial tips, portrait basics and figurative drawing. Please see our "Workshops" page for detail of dates, costs, etc. Fred trained in the U.K. and in the USA and has 20 years experience as an artist and qualified teacher. In England he studied for his degree in Industrial Design and then in Art and Design. An award winning illustrator and an airbrush artist, Fred's worked for some of the biggest names in advertising. From promotional large scale murals for Kellogs to customised vehicle painting for one of the world's fastest cars - FIREFORCE 1, a jet powerred drag strip car. Currently his brilliant rendition of "The Italian Job" is attracting attention because of the 40th Anniverary of this iconic film! His style for advertising and more commercial work can be both exciting, vibrant but very exact in the detail. His newer work in portraiture constantly begs the question - "It's fantastic is it a photograph"? Fred has always painted landscapes, especially the sea and is also keen on the surfer genre.
