Kim has been designing and making very individual beautiful glass pieces since 1998. He will be holding a glass workshop at Nature in Art, Twigworth nr. Gloucester, on November 14th & 15th 2009. Call to book a place. Kim creates attractive and unique pieces of stained glass and is constantly developing his skills by studying various techniques - fusing & slumping glass in a kiln for example.
His colourful and carefully executed work includes windows, mirrors, wall dividers, lampshades, clocks, candlesticks, fused glasswork and glass restoration work. Kim is a member of The Wye Valley Crafts Association. Kim invites customers to see his work - ‘phone first. He enjoys working with his clients to take their ideas through the design process. He will make sketches, explain each stage and show samples.
Kim also undertakes restoration work - the largest project to date was the restoration of the leaded lights in two “Chinese Pavilions” in Gloucestershire.
