Paul McKee is a rising contemporary artist living and working in Gloucestershire. He is widely exhibited and in many private collections. He studied at Liverpool College of Art and University College London. He attained a B.A. Hons. in Fine Arts. He continued to study and is a M.A. in Museum Studies. Paul is a qualified artist, teacher and curator, he is involved with the project "Young People's Arts Awards" in Gloucestershire.
He paints landscapes and flowers, is interested in exploring the themes of myths and legends, of interpreting movement through dancing figures and the nude. He says " I like expressive interpretation of familiar objects and scenes, they are invested in memory, movement and emotion".
Oil, mixed media, charcoal, ink, pastels, print. Sometimes also watercolour.
