Karen Lougher's Ripping Yarns shop in Cinderford sells a wide and varied selection of yarn, all sorts of specialist the latest wools, beads, haberdashery, needles, buttons etc.
It is a treasure trove, packed with excellent stock of wool. Debbie Bliss, Artisano and Noro wools, the latest felting wools, certified organic yarns, hand dyed yarns - all in a range of rich colours.
There are two Knitting Clubs at present, Please ask Karen about her Jewellery/Beading and Felting workshops. Karen's shop stocks GMB silk threads, ribbon yarn,local Gotlands yarn, hand made wooden needles, crochet hooks, machine threads,jewellery making kits, Fair Trade hand made buttons, all sorts of buttons, pattern books, woolly items and some vintage clothes. She's also dedicated to helping local schools teach knitting often using recycled wool to make inventive toys, fun items that help children to learn this traditional craft. Ripping Yarns is open Tuesday, Fridays Saturday 10am - 3pm. Wednesday 9am - 1.30pm. Thursday 9am - 3pm
