Sarah specialises in oil paintings of the Forest of Dean. Viewing Sarahs' paintings is like taking a walk through the glorious scenery of the Dean and Wye Valley. She began painting when she was in her 20's and lived in Oxfordshire. Sarah was successful there, taking part in the Oxford Art Week, exhibiting, selling her work and was well reviewed by the Oxford Times. She studied with a local well known painter developing her techniques in oil painting. When she moved to the Forest, she started painting the local scenery prolifically. Her joy and love of the wooded walks,the quiet secret places, lakes and natural beauty of the Forest of Dean are reflected in her work. Sarah paints the changing seasons, going out every day to explore with her camera and sketch pad. She exhibits constantly and holds her own Village Exhibtion every year in March/April. Sarah welcomes visitors by appointment please call her.She will be exhibiting at The Dean Heritage Museum in 2010 in October, The Signal Box Tintern and The Brockweir Shop in 2010.
