Handmade furniture by a master cabinet maker. Steve completed his studies in Furniture Design at Cheltenham College. He went on to work for a master cabinet maker. Always a creative and natural maker from a child, Steve has been operating his own thriving bespoke furniture making business for many years. In his carpentry/joinery workshop amidst the rolling hills of East Dean he is constantly adding to his range of beautifully honed furniture, he's always developing new designs. Steve has recently added a choice of 96 types of Granite plus marble for his kitchen worktops. His range is very wide, using hand selected timbers, much of which is locally sourced. This includes:- Kitchens, fitted furniture, cabinets and dressers, dining room sets, occassional tables, libraries, traditional and reproduction pieces. He is a master at replicating period styles, anything from Jacobean to art nouveau. Steve also likes to design and make contemporary pieces. In fact any furniture that will suit the client's needs for both home or business. He uses both local Forest of Dean hardwoods and top quality timber from certified timber sellers. He has his own kiln and is very knowledgable about sourcing a diverse range of timber. Call Steve for a visit or more detail of his portfolio.
