GLOUCESTER CATHEDRAL
January 17th - 31st March. Celebrating the life of Edward Wilson.
Dr. Wilson was born in Cheltenham (1872-1912). He was a scientist, naturalist and artist. Dr. Wilsons\' exquisite drawings and evocative watercolours of the Antarctic are some of the finest in the world. He was with the small group accompanying Captain Scott into the Antarctic. All sadly perished within weeks of setting out. His strong links with the Cathedral show in his scenes of the Cathedral. Free admission.
